Rejoicing in Trials
Always try to do your best,
Even when there is a test;
Show trials make you feel glad,
Do not let them make you sad.
You are tested different ways,
Just as a mouse in a maze;
Testing faith helps you endure,
To spiritually mature.
If you need wisdom to know,
Pray to God to let it flow;
Ask Him of what you should do,
And He will give it to you.
For God is not finding fault,
With everything you sought;
When you ask though do not doubt,
Or your quest is tossed about.
Having doubt is like a wave,
That will get lost in a cave;
With many trails and is dark,
You stumble as you embark.
Humble believers have pride,
Because they always abide;
And that makes them essential,
Which to God makes them special.
Others whither like flowers,
As they try to last for hours;
The sun with its scorching heat,
Will dry up their rooted feet.
And then the beauty goes away,
Because they have gone astray;
While busy they will die,
Because of a sinful lie.
