God knows I love the Philippines so much
In often more than countable ways
I still can remember saying back when
Take me back to the good old days
Old time real time old school values
Old time religion here as well
And lots of improvisation still exists
Just like the good old days only can tell
Just the other day I saw more improvisation
Common sense at its very best
I stood on a river bank in amazement
How they regardless pass each and every test
I simply have to admire and thank them
For allowing myself to go back to a time
When people could survive as they here do
When the chips are down they still do fine
Out here in the country side so beautiful
I'm not a city man in any living way
Its just so wonderful to see such togetherness
All as one everyone both night time and day
No stress about too much in life at all
No problems that cannot be solved some way
Working all the time the way they did back then
And they feel about work as most feel about play
So many out there in many places that Ive been
Would give their lives to know such peace of mind
A beautiful place of such Godly grace
Where peace upon earth exists among all you'll find
They create and do things the old ways so beautiful
And yet they do all way better still
With hearts and minds these days so hard to find
And love and happiness and smiles hearts they fill
A widest river where people cross daily
No stress ,problems no big deal modern world flurries
These people I love them they are brilliant
No bridge ...... No worries
