How I love the forest pines so high
Their growing all as one together
The breezes singing through them high
As it moves the branches and the heather
Their many cones and carpets of needles
The very fragrance they all give so free
Nothing like the very sight of the pines
In their forest form the loved pine tree
I would look out of my window when I passed
The window of my beautiful forest view
And every time I saw something not seen before
And for some reason I always thought of you
Moments of thought they gave to myself
Thinking of then they in mind still do
How I loved to live on the forest edge
Where the most gentle breezes blew
They sing their very own forest song
One can almost this day hear it still
I loved the pines, the chockolate vines
That grew on them and flower so at will
The walking through their thickest rows
Upon a carpet thick and so very soft
To look up at their highest peaks
That swayed in the breezes there aloft
The silence one cannot hear out there
In a world of so much noise and woe
Ive loved the forest pines for always
And still I adore to see them grow
