Down along the ocean rocks and weed
Where the waves crash in sheer delight
Washing all as clean as clean can be
Where they do so both day and night
Where winds they blow with salty air
And sea gulls squark as low they fly
Looking for another meal or two or three
Under the bluest of ocean clearest sky
Where small crabs play all through the day
Keeping an eye out for the gulls above that fly
And the smallest ever fish in rocks they hide
As the waves keep crashing as the breezes sigh
Its where I go just every now and then
To enjoy the sea fresh breezes that blow
And to gaze so very far out to the horizon
And watch the passing ships that move so slow
The waves for company thumping upon the rocks
One can simply forget the world that be
Down where the ocean breezes blow
Along the rocky shore line by the sea ..
