Its so wonderful to live now in the Philippines
In a land of healthy soil and beautiful rain
Not like some places I have known over time
Where They can grow any amount of beautiful grain
To hold in ones arms the pure grains charms
And to feel so good at the harvest time
To have as much as a beautiful crop can give
So thankful am I to our God above divine
As far as the eye can see about for miles
One can see the crops of rice that grow
All planted and worked alone by hand
The grandest seas of pure rice they sow
Everything done the oldest way so well
Ploughed by the faithful carabao each time
I give thanks to God himself for his love
To be apart of this wonderful way of life sublime
The lushest green Ive ever in life seen
And families working it all side by side
As they plant and as they harvest it all
The most beautiful grain of all with pride
So thankful to God above and all his love
So blessed are each and every single soul
How they love so God and all they here do
Planting the vast rice crops as in days of old.
