The need, dire to bring much change
To livelihood and pockets strained
A job of interest they can build on
Protect nest egg before it's gone
A helping hand divine in power
Of want ads new prayed for this hour
To all in need dear friend and more
My words to you GOD now implore
This waste land of the unemployed
Has taken down close to destroyed
Lives to stay the course, be still
The needs of many, to be fulfilled
Questions theirs go unanswered
Though time all yours they seek answers
To place a meal upon their plates
To keep their homes before foreclosures date
They worked dearly and hard to have
What's left to keep right now looks bad
But in my heart as theirs I'm sure
You're hard at work to help endure
This stage in life, where curtains draw
A new beginning to rise from floor
For in you Father I have proclaimed
These storms of life you soon shall change
Reveal yourself today, to them
To all in need as they depend
To bring misfortune to an end
Pour down blessings, from Heaven send
