 357. Wrinkled
Will you still
Love me
When I am
Wrinkled?

Think about
It when that
Young hunk
Of a man
Is lookin'
At you
Like some
Fine young
Dish…
And you both
Care way
Too much
About how
You look
When it comes
To love.

I can still see
Nan & Pop's
Wrinkled faces
Soft to touch
Etched with
The years of
Loving arguments
And tender
Moments…
They were
My heroes.

The Velveteen
Rabbit knows
What I'm
Talkin' about.
Being loved
So long
And so hard
That when
Your hair falls
Out and things
Don't work
As well
It no longer
Matters…

For people
I think it is
Their wrinkles
That mark
The love
Life has etched
Into them…
