359. Gravity
(thanks to Cam G. for the word)
It weighs on me.
What is left
To say
To be done
To be printed
To be a
Fitting end
To this all.
Yet the smile
Comes back
To me…
The Cheshire grin
Of my beloved
Shehe
That knowingness
To fight gravity
With her
Levity.
That I am
Too serious…
And need
To let go
Of the weight
Of history
And time.
That people
Will remember
How I made
Them feel
More so
Than what
I said.
Humor has
Never been
My strong suit
In the past…
So I will try
To fight
And I can hear
Master Yoda
Saying,
“Do or Do not!
There is no
Try!”
And I laugh
At my own
Gravity…
