Sunrise SunsetCrows from a distance blend a newborn's cry by chance an overwhelming sight at a glance illuminating rays welcome to enhance. A bright sunny day follows happiness from God-given gift overflows life so meaningful as deep love grows the day seems endless, colorful it glows. Sunshine replaced by gloomy skies worried faces, bitter with suppressed cries the moment of joy so short to pay a price silence mended by wailing baby as mother dies. Sunset in silhouette behind angered rain no rainbow to follow but sorrow and pain the slowly creeping nocturnal curtain swallow the darkness of agony to contain. *Pinky* Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
