Mistakenly Yours
Love brushed aside today someone
Will break of heart again undone
Because love they thought was theirs in hand
Mistakenly, won't understand
Led on, deceived like child will fall
Alone, broken unanswered calls
Will take their toll leaving alone
To spend their time waiting by phone
Shattered dreams from eyes now run
Tears of sorrow, a marathon
Where breathing is so hard to do
As thoughts of one keep passing through
With pen in hand they write this day
Another one, letter to say
How much they miss what use to be
Ending again, still yours sincerely
How much the cost a heart will pay
To keep what seems just yesterday
A kiss unlike, a touch of them
As time stands still not theirs to lend
In corner where no one will see
Lies what is left broken clearly
More than a friend, more then often
Holding to what's left of then
