I just walked right up here
The clouds are so very near
The sky is blue and so clear
where natures music only to hear
Up upon this mountain all alone
Where I can sit upon natures thrown
Think about my heart and its home
Upon this finest day on my own
I walked in thought around the peak
Not at all was I meaning to creep
And my mind was thinking so deep
Up upon this green mountain so steep
Then suddenly to my very own surprise
Like being given the most wonderful prize
I turned around and looked into your eyes
Our souls met without at all any disguise
You as well all upon this finest ever day
You decided as well to walk up here far away
You sat alone almost as if to sit and pray
Our eyes met and we smiled then as if to say
Of all the things on this day to ever be
Up upon this mountain so high and so free
That you should walk up here and find me
Sitting here under this smallest tree
We talked to pass some of the time
Up upon this mountain so heavenly divine
That's when your heart it then met mine
Up upon this mountain ever so sublime
We then walked close to each other around
Only natures music playing was the sound
And that real true love we both found
So very high up upon heavens ground
We then sat for yet just awhile more
And each others company we came to adore
God and fate works as one it must be for sure
Love this day had opened its most grandest door
Now we are one forever come what ever may
Upon the most finest ever could be day
We will be as one in love always to stay
And often again to the mountain way up by the way.
