LIMELIGHT






LIMELIGHT




It is said `while the cat`s away`
That certainly `the mice will play`,
And in a way this saying is true
Because the spot light`s not on you.





An audience elsewhere you seek
You only have to let something leak,
It spreads once in the right ear
And your audience draws near.





False concern is what you will get
Used to `their` advantage I bet,
They use you to further their own ends
And these are your `so called` friends.





I`m not telling you something new
You know what I`m saying is true,
I hope you enjoy the limelight
As this is what you wanted – right!!
