Living the Way of God
I must encourage you,
In the name of the Lord;
Always remaining true,
Not let it be ignored.
Minds set on worthless things,
Keeps you within the dark;
As idolatry clings,
To where you will embark.
That excludes you from God,
Because of stubbornness;
For no honor and laud,
He gives no blessedness.
You have no longer shame,
In earthly desire;
And no longer proclaim,
The words that inspire.
But you were taught to switch,
Of the way that you live;
For sin will cause a glitch,
In letting God forgive.
You need the attitude,
Getting rid of the lies;
And start changing your mood,
Taking off the disguise.
Be kind and forgiving,
Earthly things sacrificed;
And start to go living,
How you were taught by Christ.
