THE HALF AND THE WHOLE OF IT
Mans vision is fed
Through the eye of a needle
Spooled from a spindle
Threaded to wheedle.
He sees only that
Which abides his own reason
His eyes caught in sockets
Of linear treason!
Man rests his judgments
Based on his sight
His focus retarded
By incident light.
He has no idea
That his ocular vision's
Limit his mind
From concrete decisions.
Man sees only half
In a world which is whole
And the half that he sees...
A galactic Black Hole!
