Goodbye my country, goodbye for now
I'm next in line to die
I'm here with heroes, every one
Never to enjoy my American sun
My thoughts are dear and very near
My family and my friends so dear
The smoke, the smell and the cries from hell
Pretty soon we'll be in heaven
It's gone for me and my heroes near
We're American and full of fear
We love our country, the end is near
Our day is 9/11 you'll remember it so clear
Say goodbye to my little guy and tell him not to cry
He can talk to me anytime high up in the sky
