Living life one day at a time in life
Seems to be the best idea so they say
I myself do this as best I can in life
And give it all I have to give each day
Living our life is as important I feel
As anything there is upon this earth
For our lives are a gift of God its true
So we should live that life with all our worth
We know God is perfect compared to all things
We are far from being perfect as we know
And as we live our daily lives on earth
We can only give it our very best its so
When we wake up each morning of the day
We do a number of things at that point in time
We look back at our yesterdays long enough
To think how we can improve them down the line
Remembering the simplicity of Jesus teachings
We then venture to carry on through our day
Knowing right from wrong as we all really do
And remembering the very reason we all pray
We know that every action has an outcome
So we think before we do things as we go
And only giving all our very best we can
The day it carries on like the rivers flow
We all know of good values and integrity
And giving this day all we have to give
In our own very personnel and gentle way
We keep in mind other souls they too live
Keeping in mind every soul each day that goes by
Lives their day and does things their way
But we can only do our best to teach by example
And for the right things to do we ask when we pray
We have to consider the day to come being tomorrow
So we do our best to get each day as right can be
Not being too afraid of making the odd mistakes
As from mistakes we learn in life's university
Showing love and consideration as we live each day
But all the while keeping within our very mind
We will not in a thousand years please everyone
The answer to this question one day I seek to find
Only doing our very best that we can in life
That's all any of us here can ever in life do
And using our common sense to know the differences
Between whats good bad illusions and what we feel is true
Not even Jesus said its an easy thing in life
Being a good soul upon earth who about life does care
Only those who care about nobody or anything at all
Seems to have an easy ride through life from here to there
Simply being a good soul as we all know about within
And making the best choices upon each and every day
Knowing we will make our share of mistakes in life
As we live each day as we go upon our way
Being a good soul in life was never easy in any way
And I feel that will in life never change a lot
But our lives minds bodies and souls are ours alone
But some others we meet along the way may have forgot
Simply being at your best as much as you can
And knowing right from wrong each and ever day
Asking God for blessings and showing him ever so
We are sincere and need his help when ever we pray
