Dedicated to Love, Bravery and Truth

Knock knock, Who's there?
Can you guess who?
Right! It's me
Speaking to you!

I've been your enemy
Almost from the start.
Because I asked
How could you face that broken body
That matched my dear one's broken heart?

How could you peruse your mirror
Knowing that YOU caused the pain?
Caused the look of torture
On a face that would never smile again!

We who knew and loved him
Also knew of his plight
He was a war hero
But the time has now come
For us to fight.

Fight for a wasted life
That ended in pain
Fight for one who will never
Return again.

Yes, he was an angel
So trusting and so brave
You did not honor his trust
Instead you gave
Him a secret funeral
With only you present at the grave.

Wish I may
Wish I might
Wish I could have saved him
From that plight.

So here are my words
Now what can you do?
You will look in the mirror
But knowing you
You'll smile at your reflection
And not realize they are true.
