Every day we can find something different
If we care to look and to hopefully to find
A little something we need to come to terms with
As we stop long enough to glace at whats behind
But often at times we will hear our selves say
Why me .. Why me ,, What did I do to deserve this
How we would all like our very lives to be
Absolute perfect loving living total on earth bliss
But that is not the way it goes it seems to be
Diversity makes the soul stronger how they tell
And we always find the strength body soul and mind
To carry on best we can to ring each days closing bell
Why me .. Why me .. There has to be an answer to that
I feel each day in this largest ever university of life
We are sent lessons large and small to contend with
And to pass some of them we feel we are deep in strife
The teacher I feel is a power we must all respect
The one that knows what it is in life we need to learn
And gives us things to work upon each day as a test
As within our very lives our candle of life does burn
I myself have often wondered what upon earth will I do
To solve the tribulations I've come across over time
And I've said often to myself Why me .. Why me
But the answers looking back I always seemed to find
Some of the ways I used to solve each one day by day
Might not have pleased every soul on earth its true
But the words judge not or you to will be judged
And at that time in my life they never wore my shoes
But how often have we to our selves softly said
Why me,God why me,Sometimes as we live another day
But we find if we stop long enough to go within
We will find the answers and we will find a way.
