An ever so darkest night with flashing light
And the wind outside howling as never before
Branches landing upon my roof of iron
And complaining ever so is my front door
Whistling wind like lost souls in flight
There would be not a star one could see outside
The loudest noise's of the rain upon my roof
Trees thrashing against the walls without pride
Howling wind now growling and as if now prowling
It keeps changing all the time it angry tone
And all the while I doze with an almost smile
As Im all rugged up in my bed within my home
I totally adore a real good storm for sure
I love natures most dramatic play when I'm
Within my largest warmest ever comfortable bed
Listening to natures symphony ever so divine
For myself there's nothing like it to have one feel
All safe and warm and so very snug on a darkest night
As tin it outside rattles and trees the wind battles
And all along you know that simply everything's alright
It's music from the greatest of natures sounds that be
Exciting and with so many different tones and groan's
Most of all when souls are all wrapped up ever warm and safe
Protected all the while and dozing snug within their homes.
