Within our very lives all of us so often it seems
As we at times look back at time that's gone by
That it all only feels like if it was yesterday
And we think again of just how time does fly
And after all of the time that's drifted away
We then often look at our now and our today
And if the truth is all known after we've grown
We'd honestly do much of it in the same old way
Not too good to look back in any kind of regret
As we were all then learning as all souls they do
All students are we within this vast classroom earth
Old and new souls all slowly making their way through
We were all taught by life's greatest teacher of all
His every word of love and wisdom non can ever deny
We all are aware of all the directions we should take
And all he asked us to do after all said and done is to try
But as we all make our own very way at the end of the day
We will know it all would have all been easier to all be as one
But like time has often said now that's just past put to bed
And all now are things in life that are memories over and done
But there's still lots of precious time to come way down the line
To change all things and the very way we here on earth still all live
And to remember his word is still with us all here to be heard
And way more for all upon earth with all of our worth to to each
other way yet more love to give.
