 What can we Give (revisited)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Guilty  of  sin, in  the  first  degree,
Innocent  blood, fell  all  over  me, God's
Spotless  lamb, left  Heaven, came  to  be,
The  supreme  sacrifice  to  set  men  free

Carried  a  cruel  cross  up  mount  Calvary,
The  spotless  Lamb, came  to  die  for  me,
love  that  day, was  an  up  hill  climb,
Each  step  he  took, had  me, on  his  mind

My  sins  had  complete  control  over  me, I
Had  no  power, to  set  myself  free, I  was
Headed  for  hell, sin  had  so  blinded  me,
Till  Truth  was  nailed, to  that  old  tree

Thank  God  for  this  man  from  Galilee,
Who  bought  a  pardon  for  you, for  me,
A  heavy  price, it  was  not  free, a
Greater  sacrifice, has  never  been  made

Marred  beyond  recognition, scourged, spat
Upon, His  flesh  ripped  away, yet  not  a
Word  of  defense, did  he  utter  that  day,
Pierced, nailed  to  a  tree, for  you, for  me

What  can  we  offer  in  return  to  Him ?
Surely  there  must  be  something, we  can
Give, sacrificial  lambs, no  longer  suffice,
Of  gold  and  jewels  he  has  no  need

What  could  I  possibly, offer  a  king
Who'd  given  himself, a  ransom  for  me ?
I  fell  to  my  knees, cried  out  "LORD"
Surely  an  offering  to  you, I  must  give

He  spoke  to  me  tenderly, said  my  child,
Keep  thyself  unspotted  from  the  world,
Keep  my  commandments, watch  and  pray,
Implore  Men  to  repent, from  sin  turn  away.
