Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Feeling within

Sometimes, I feel a little fuzzy inside,
The way the memories bite and crawl from within,
Begging to be spewed out.
I fight them off, like demons
Waiting to spear my soul and claim it as theirs.
I toss them out;
They wrangle back in.
Feeling stuck, I beg for sleep and
Become an insomniac.
When I can no longer hide,
I sit beside the window and remember
All the ugly that begged to be hidden.
Suddenly, it's all so crisp and clear.
Suddenly, I've lost my purpose.
