where did our youth go?©Kids today think they have it so hard when they can't even enjoy a simple baseball card, that came with a big stick of bubblegum you tell them of it they think it's dumb. Making snow angels to them would never be cool they'd rather play video games after school, my sweetheart and me we had such simplicity. They cry when mom can't take them to see a friend what i remember is riding bikes to no end, ahhh the mall's closed certain days of the year back then we were out of luck.... come sunday we didn't have milk in the house here. If you ask me us grown up kids have it rough too many headaches w/all the gadgets and stuff, my love and i'd sit and talk again and again about the simple pleasures we had back then. Catching lightning bugs in a jar kids today don't even see what they are, and what they are is God's way of saying that kids today should be outside playing. They're too busy w/technology so grand and cellphone texting that they demand, back when we met 29 years ago this is stuff we didn't even know. We played miniature golf on a regular basis i kept the scorecards oh that time i miss, in the scheme of things we got caught up in on what kept us young we shoulda been focusin. But we both grew old before our time now i don't have that playmate of mine, so to you kids young and old i say keep fit keep young go outside and play!
