Back into the Sea of ages
I am captive of thy charms
Strong,and faithful naked arms
Lift me skyward toward the
Dawning light and buoyant bliss
Of thy oceans saltless kiss.
Upon thy blue and white pearled Throne
I play the part of Neptune's mate
And there a moments stay I take
Within the vault of heavens lofty state
To know the reverent Mother sky
There are no tears for me to cry.
Alas, doth swell a timeless urge
I am where I am meant to be
From my beginning here to purge
Christened by the ancient lights
Etched into the moonlit nights.
I am Pisces after all
Born and bred to fish
From Peter's net the hungry fed
I have but one last wish
Now that time for me has come
To take my final rest
Back into thy Sea, Oh Lord
Your mercy I request.
