Grieve not for the Dead
I do not want you to ignore,
About those who have gone away;
Remember Christ waits at the door,
Up to the Heavenly highway.
So if you truly do believe,
Knowing that they do have some hope;
There is no need for you to grieve,
Knowing there is comfort to cope.
We believe that Jesus came back,
To life just after He had died;
Same as believers at the track,
When Christ will come back for His bride.
I am telling you as He taught,
Just as for those who are alive;
Those as well will also be sought,
When on the cloud Christ does arrive.
The Lord will come down from Heaven,
When you will hear a trumpet sound;
To Him a command is given,
For graves to open all around.
Together with those in the grave,
With each one to the cloud ascends;
As Christ comes back and He will save,
All of those who has made amends.
So the comfort comes with each word,
No one is dead only asleep;
As soon as the trumpet is heard,
Out of their graves each one will leap.
