I slowly awoke this morning and the sun shone through
My window still ealy within the brand new day
I glance outside and I did see there before me
Two small birds grooming each other in their own way
Then right past my window then butterflies they flew
Their colors seautiful and side by side as if they were one
Futher away I noticed leaves lifting themselves back up
As they dried slowly from the due in the morning sun
A gentle breeze sifted softly then through the trees
And flowering bushes swayed as if to perform a dance
As well two small lizards warmed within the rays of sun
Sitting there together as if in a most romantic trance
The sky was becoming so bright as the sinshine it came
Telling that yesterdays rain had now all long gone away
And then two old couples slowly walked by hand in hand
And I knew then it was going to be such a beautiful day
There was love within the air it was all outside to see there
And I as well heard playing softly somewhere the oldest song
All seemed so calm and tranquil and a feeling of togetherness
And I wished so that the entire world could be this way all along
I feel that ultimate love and peace begins within both you and I
And all could well each day awake and then look outside to find
All the so smallest things showing that love and peace can easily be
If we all here upon our earth seeking same simply all made up our mind.
