In the middle of nowhere
sweet music playing somewhere
chilly wind combing the atmosphere
soft rustles of leaves in wanton surrender.
Strange as it might
a surprise of shining light
subdued the glow of silver moonlight
embellished by dust of stars flaunting so bright.
Fireflies enfold trees
like a swarm of honey bees
a serene pond with flowering lilies
bestow a grand retreat and totality of bliss.
I sat in a flowered swing
still in haze so overwhelming
this is the place I have been dreaming
the luxury of peace and magical relief from crying.
I wish not to go back again
to the avenues of heartaches and pain
where facade of joy I always need to maintain
amid all forms of difficulties nobody knows I contain.
I will stop counting sunrise
I wish not to hear anymore lies
in this fancy world, I'm dumb to be wise
but no one could hurt me within my paradise.
