During the day
and in the night
While in the dark
or in the light -
The finished work of Christ
is always in my sight.
Commandments He
taught are part of me
Giving me sight to see
And truly know-
right from wrong -
I carry His luminous
lamp along -wherever I go
As the storms of life
rock me to and fro
continually- in the
Sea of temptation.
Yet...there is land untouched
by wicked sea where
a song is sung called liberty.
Liberty in Christ helps
me and my family
Tend to the golden fields
of truth where seeds of
love and kindness are sown
and grown - In christened gardens
prepared and watched over
throughout the ages
By our gracious Lord.
