The Juicy Pear
I aimlessly walked around the sun lit kitchen,
Waiting for the microwave to ding.
But what caught my intrigued eye,
Was a lightly tinted golden pear, with
A beautiful ripe yellow shade and a
Slight green tint.
It was muscular and well developed.
My mind was longing for my teeth to take that
Bite and taste the juicy and tangy flare it had.
My hand reached toward the pear.
I took it.
It felt strong and had a velvet like texture.
My teeth took a deep bite through the soft skin,
And the juicy flavour filled my mouth.
It was sweet, and succulent, flavoursome and delightful.
Soft in textured, pungent in taste.
To this day I still remember that superb pear!
And finally after eating that delicious pear,
The microwave made a sudden DING! which jolted me out of my
Pleasant trance.
