 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

Dance of the firefly




I take my secret with you
my quiet little pill

Then the flower wilted
with sunrise
and rose with the sunset

I hovered
between life
and death

The glow surrounded me
and there I ate it

Hope is within
a small hidden space

This drawn place
is found just below
several fillets of my skin

A tattoo unseen
rests beyond the vista
of my being

Magnetic signs
push away my tears

I am tending my garden
again and it loves me

The acoustic strings
play no more
a drummer steps to the stage

I am moved to dance
thrashing my body
rotating towards gravity

Falling upward
the flight still takes me

Will you be home
for dinner?
