That Pressure
There can be pressures placed on children, by a family
Also even more heaped on by some sections of the community
Who believed that if they came from a family, successful academically?
That they should be blessed with or have those abilities naturally.
True born into a home where that may be the aura
Perhaps this should act as a stimulus even a motivator
But what people seem to fail to understand
Those children should enjoy childhood, that's the plan
Sometimes forcing them into a situation which is ever present
May only serve to sow that see of rebellion, and one of resentment?
As parent and the society seem to fail to recognize
They should steer but let the children make their choice
If they decide to follow later on in their footsteps
This decision should make smiles form on their lips
But be mindful that they may think that each stage of success
Was a result of that stride you made in your progress?
Sometimes they on the world may want to make an impression
But somehow want to be the one making that decision
So see the reality understand that this may be a fact
That they do not want to continue riding piggy back
Also if your children so not follow you on that path of success
Remember that with ability they may not be blessed
As always this is a fact in life and also in many societies
That they be constituted of people with varying abilities.
