They say that love is so very everything
Well Ive loved n been loved in my time
Now I relax within true love without a tax
But Ive held earthbound Angels of love sublime
So many different kinds of love there are
One finds as one travels lifes roads n bends
Is that when the chips are really down
Thats when you find out who are your friends
There are so many silly ideas of late its true
That guide the searchers of true love today
Some actually they still look deeply within
Others only want only whats put on display
It seems a very mixed up world its true
But then I guess to each his and her own
But real true love exists and will always be
What makes a deep and loving heart its home
But as we travel the many roads in life
Up the slopes down highways n around the bends
When the chips of life are really down
Thats when we find out who really are our friends
