There is a place that's so deeply within us all
We all have it there and know where it is for sure
We all have many memories of its letting us know
It will be there within our lives for ever more
I myself remember being sent to headmaster long ago
Might I add as well for something then I did not do
But there was this feeling within the center of me
That where at that time felt so hollow it was true
That place is the center of our soul deep within
It's where we really feel all that worries us in life
It's as if lifelong candle of love and sincerity
That burns in times of both happiness and strife
It's the same place that takes life's blows so hard
And has us all then pray so much more to God above
Asking him for all his love and guidance through life
That we experience in this life of both hatred and love
It's that place that feels in life we were hit by a truck
When we simply at that point in time don't know what to do
It' lives within us every God given soul upon our earth
The same place that tells us of right and wrong it's true
There are no on earth any honest excuses for not knowing
Where this place within it resides as it has in life always
It's our souls very God given dignity so deeply within us
And it will remain there for all our earth bound living days
I pray to God always in my way that way more would remember
Where this place is and has been for all our on earth years
It's the same place when we lose someone we've always loved
Gives us that hollow feeling reducing us to sincere tears
It's been put there within us all by God for loving reasons
And it's a real part of the voice of our very soul within
It's got an echo within us of Gods every single word
It reminds us all God loves us all even in this world of sin
But being the same place we felt going to that headmaster
As we all experienced so very long ago in life it's true
It tells us we are still all his much loved children always
A place within all of gods souls we've always known and knew.
