I climbed the hill to the very top
But when I got there I came to a stop,
I stood and looked out on `forever more`
I teetered there as I had to be sure.
I stepped right off into the unknown
This decision was mine and mine alone,
I took the chance on future happiness
This could be good or end in a mess.
I stepped and fell from a very great height
You were waiting there much to my delight,
You were there to catch me when I fell
And delivered me from a living hell.
I once stood on the edge of `forever`
There`s no going back now or ever,
I don`t regret the step that I took
For it was love and not just a fluke.
