Tested under Trials
Count it as all joy and be glad,
Be very happy and not sad;
When tested in a perverse way,
Temptation makes you go astray.
Testing faith is checking patience,
Which will be building endurance;
To tolerate until complete,
For ensuring not to defeat.
Then you will be very mature,
If able to resist the lure;
Being entirely perfect,
Having no spiritual defect.
If you will need wisdom to know,
Ask God in prayer to let it flow;
And He will be giving to you,
Knowledge on what you have to do.
God is generous loves to give,
Whatever we need for to live;
And He does not try to find fault,
For He makes sure you do not halt.
Do not quit with a sea of doubt,
As waves are tossing you about;
Do not worry and wear no frown,
A smile turns it upside down.
For with a true faith in the Lord,
His wisdom is never ignored;
Giving you the strength to prolong,
No matter just what may go wrong.
