As my soul bathes in the first Autumn's Rain
My spirit within creates virtues to gain
Falling softly with peace in every sweet drop
Drenches my being into overflowing my cup
Autumn's first rain is Living Water Of Life
Nurturing the spirit overpowering strife
Awakening the heart and mind to fully behold
The promised rainbow as Jesus foretold
Autumn's falling rain opens the door to hope
Assuring mankind with courage to cope
As it replenishes the weather-beaten earth
In cleansing souls for eternal rebirth
