Summers Eve on a Park Bench
A bell tolls, the sound echoing in my mind like a crescendo of memories.
A cascade of images fading in and out struggle to resolve the focus.
An explosion of possibilities like dandylion seeds floating on the wind.
The joy of laughter spills into the street flushing the gutter of despair.
A remembrance of two sipping coffee under an umbrella.
Silence shrouds the park bench were I sit waiting for the bell to toll.
