Letting Go
Perhaps human being can take an example from the animal kingdom
The manner in which the nurture, train and prepare their young
It is amazing the time and dedication, teaching them the ways
Ensure that they have the where it all to survive their days.
After that period has passed and they have in their mind weaned
To us it may look as a parent they may be cruel and mean
They are pushed away to chart their own life's path
And they continue to come around, this is greeted by some wrath
Be it instinct, that parent when the time come most certainly know
That the best interest of the offspring its best to let them go
So after that period of caring and teaching those existence skills
They must now go on their way and take life's challenging pills.
But human being who are suppose to be on a level much higher
Tend to want to hold on to their very much longer
In some cases never take time out to give them any preparation
So having their independence would be an imposing situation.
Then some children also find a sort of safety and comfort zone
But trying to keep those feet firmly planted in the family home
Because there it so amazes that why the mother
Still waited and picked up after them as though they were toddlers
Some parents on can hear complaining more and more
That their adult children do not want to do no sort of chore
But if they in those early day, did not steer them in that direction
So why complain, when they were the ones doing the construction
So parents remember as time progresses we all will age
Therefore prepare those children to be on the responsible page
Like the animals make sure they can shoulder some form of responsibility
Otherwise you will be for a long time dealing with a baby,
