Television's Power
One can never discount what a very powerful medium
And the powerful influence on our lives is the television
There is no doubt no matter how far we stretch our imagination
The great impact it has it has, one of such exponential proportion.
What to many of us that great source of entertainment
Providing that feed that sits us into the centre of lots of events
Where we all can sit in the comfort of any of our house's room
And enjoy many of that live action in one sweeping zoom,
Where there is any form of urgent world's news item
The opportunity to see them, is certainly no problem
By the use of technology, which include the satellite?
On can see it, and the visual quality is oh so right.
It has given more power to the manufactures as the retailer
Who are not able to reach a wider base of the important customer?
Using the ever present influence of advertisement's visual impact
Knowing this will make the customer very positively act.
But in some cases people are giving television a sort of thumbs down
They are now saying in many of their programs lots of violence can be found
And they too are saying there are sometimes often showing
Programs in which scenes; of too much sex are being depicting.
Yes we can see some of those mannerisms and attitudes
Being displayed by many of our young one as they are rude
This we can see coming straight from a television program
But who should be the ones being blamed for such a problem?
The television films and their production is a profession
And they do have to be earn some form of remuneration
Isn't also the responsibility of that of those who are responsible for the viewers?
To educate them about the television and extent of it powers.
