I loved the evening loveliest rays of golden Australian sunlight
Away out upon such a lovely evening country slow horse ride there
With the very fragrance of all the natural bush and the greenery
As well as the sight of tall sun lit trees glowing beyond compare
The very silence sings such tranquil peaceful songs to ones ears
And many endless colors of it all just takes ones heart for keeps
The very being within and a part of all of this natural beauty
At this most loveliest time of day as yet another evening creeps
Taking another deepest still breath as the air so fresh and clean
Slowly riding up this well known so much loved ridge on my own
I did not have to come this way at all but I love this place so
Just riding so slowly enjoying all of this as I make my way home
Theres always a time of day that simply has a soul want to pray
When all of these many God given gifts arrive same place same time
And when the evening air is so wonderful to fill ones very lungs
As only these few hours of the day can present it all ever so divine.
