Way down by the bluest lake side just me
Warmest sunshine and a gentle breeze
My boat tied up there to dock on line
Shade drifts over waters edge from trees
Sitting in the boat with book and nibbles
As the boat drifts out some on the line
Listening to the music of the ripples under
Dozing there now and then just for a time
Watching the clouds ever so high up above
Many shapes they make in their own design
Thinking of a few times and memories gone
Upon this spring beautiful lake side divine
Ever so very blue above the highest sky
Birds slowly in formation fly over so very slow
So peaceful down by the spring time lake side
Nature and it's gifts such good company it's so
A smallest ever fish it dives above the glaze
Of the water as if supposed to view and see
As I sit back relaxing within my boat there
Nature and it's many gifts such lovely company.
