Shima Nesari Haghighi Fard

Heavens

I can feel thy fondles on my hair
While can see thy face not
I can scent thine aroma in the rain
Alas, I can touch thee not

I can see thy light from over the clouds
Can feel thy warmness on my face
But cannot take thy veil away
Nor can I forget thy grace

I may see thy beauty in roses
Sense thy warmness in the Sun
Feel thy purity in the ocean
But without thy Genesis they are all gone

How shall I feel a drop in an ocean?
Or a light from over the cloud
While thou art near and thou art far
And thou hast melody with no sound

Thou hast given me eyes to see
Thou hast gifted me ears to hear
How shall I see thee with these eyes?
Or hear thy voice, with mine ear?

How can I touch thee with my hands?
While I am in the prison of passion
And thou art everything and light
And thou lovest me with no compassion

O Shima, free thy spirit and fly
To the sun and the light
Leave thy frame on the dust
Fly to where the sky is bright
