To my last born, but not least, daughter Cindy-Anna who was born on 22/10/81 and is 30 years old today. love you baby always will Mum xxx

The midwife gently shook your frame
Called you by your given name
`Cindy-Anna come now baby
Be a proper little lady,
Breathe you bugger, you can hear
I believe you see me clear`.
As I watched you from my bed
I saw you breathe and shake your head
As if to say `Oh bloody hell,
All of that, and breathe as well`!
Then we caught each other`s eye
`Hiya Mum.` I heard you cry
`I am home and here to stay
What a very special day`.
Time passed, you married,had a son
Looks just like his lovely mum
And I taught you to believe
In all that I knew you`d achieve
In between some sorrow came
But you carried on my wean
Life for you has been quite tough
But you somehow smoothed the rough.
And you`ve found a love so sweet
While walking on life`s lonely street
Hand in hand your love will grow
Hate to say I told you so.
Be happy darling, everyday
And remember what I say
You have passed life`s living test
And deserve the very best.
Remember as you climb the hill
I love you and I always will
God gave me a gift to treasure
And I will do that - forever.
