Time to sit and ponder for a few moments;
Looking at the fading memories of my life.
Thoughtful ruminations… releasing the stress;
Seeing the purpose, or is it random chaos?
People enter my life, exit way to soon;
But is it for this time and for that reason?
I listen to the quiet tonight… the stillness;
Seeing the purpose, or is it random chaos?
My soul believes in the ultimate grand design;
But my mind only sees confusion, disorder.
A sweet peace settles over me as I sit in stillness;
Seeing the purpose, or is it random chaos?
You have touched the essence of my soul
Setting me on a pathway of discovery and revelation.
Thankful for the preciousness of time's allowance;
Seeing the purpose, or is it random chaos?
Growth comes through a opening in a door;
Discovery and adventure lure me forward.
A glimpse into the gearbox of the inner workings;
Seeing the purpose, or is it random chaos?
Gears turn, cogs creak, another soul on my path,
As we share a moment taken out of time.
The curtain is raised, if for only a blink of the eye;
Seeing the purpose, it is not random chaos.
