Christian Living
We should never reject,
The pathway of the Lord;
His Word never neglect,
Or let it be ignored.
It is perfect always,
Consistent all the time;
Never varies nor strays,
As it keeps you from crime.
So when you do embark,
It keeps you in the light;
Not risking through the dark,
A blessing in His sight.
A place to take refuge,
While being your shield;
When a raining deluge,
Of evil does not yield.
The true God is the Lord,
My Savior and my rock;
I have loved and adored,
The Shepherd of the flock.
God arms me with the might,
For the lures to resist;
To keep me in the light,
From the lusts that persist.
He makes my feet like those,
Of a deer fleeting fast;
To avoid all my foes,
On my path they would cast.
My shield is His Salvation,
That supports me with hope;
As His new creation,
Enables me to cope.
