The WORD Has It
Simple truths become complex
Some times much more than less
A word to raise the dead in you
Whispered help with love all true
Struggles wait beyond front door
Of home and heart ready to gore
Another peace of mind to feed
Another day wished intercede
Your search sitting upon near table
No not comic or book of fables
But words encased for just in case
You need to break from what forsakes
This world won't take you in like Him
But rain upon much more it's lace of sin
Wrap and spit you out like trash
Another soul spun out and crashed
There is but one prerequisite
Sincere request from where you sit
Surrounded by the walls you've built
Keeping out who truly helps
No not your boy or girl who swears
They'll see you through drama, despair
Patience theirs will run out too
Like door slammed shut behind now two
Know this, no kiss upon this Earth
Will be like His who treasures worth
Like you my friend, dear child amiss
The WORD has it, you're truly His
