Faith Directs
Remember when God disciplines,
It is all because of your sins;
But do not give up when subdued,
Keep a positive attitude.
He will discipline each child,
So they are not running wild;
Not to forget how to obey,
Throughout each and every day.
When disciplined you must endure,
Not to be tempted by the lure;
Scolding children as a Father,
Should so they do not go thither.
A father needs to discipline,
Whenever the child has been;
Taking detours going astray,
Or has started to disobey.
When disciplined we show respect,
We do not rebel nor reject;
Because discipline is a love,
That God is giving from above.
That is why we honor and laud,
The Heavenly Father as God;
With discipline He will forgive,
So we will be able to live.
God disciplines for our good,
So we learn doing what we should;
As faith directs to persevere,
With a purpose that we revere.
