PUNKY PUNKINS AND HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Add free poet or not
My poetry not always sought
It's a night of fright
For an old man like me a delight
I stood in the back Frankinstein
Some parents remarks mighty mean
Tall and gangly big for my age
Getting a piece of candy all the rage
Today I hide behind a Kiss mask
Giving goodies a pleasant task
I like the little guys who say thank you
Each year the neighbor kids how they grew
Mr. Dandy, I know who you are
Run little demon you won't get far
Look up look up a falling star
Now kids run safely away look for a car
Out of my yard and off they run
For Halloween not fright a night of fun
Stuffed with candy to face the morning sun
Out of candy that stuff costs me a ton
Four ninety nine for a tiny little bag
Up in the sky working for Safeway I see the old hag
