'( 2nd of 5 From The Heritage Edition Poems) (Gen. 1: 1, 26, 27, 28 / Eph. 3: 14, 15 / Acts 17: 26 / Matt. 13: 1015) The Village of Our Heritage Has A Great Cobblestone Bridge that Leads Into The Mountain (Isa. 2: 2-4) the One With The Waterfall-Fountain The Bridge Stretches Over Surging Seas It Is Very Steady In Strong Breeze & Any Carriage-Rides With Time To See May Gaze Into Misty History from The Village of Heritage Every Path Leads To That Bridge Yea, Every Trail & Lane In Village from Our College & Other's Orphanage even From The Village Square All Roads Start From There Passing By Every Hut & House-Yardage even By Gated-Manors That Are Mortgaged The Heroic Village of Heritage Every Person There Displays Courage For Nearby Woods Once Had Wolves-Savage! People Barred Doors Against Their Carnage and Brave Dwellers Built A Broad-Barrage of Iron & Logs & Boulders So Large and Posted Keen-Eyed Heritage Guards All Around The Village Wards The Prudent Village of Heritage Also Prevents Spills & Soil Spoilage: from Facts(Tories) & Printery-Published of False-Info That Fools The Publics (& Blacksmiths Who Forge Race-Rubbish) for Horse-Drawn Wagons or Buggy's Rampage are Quickly Carted Off To The Garbage ! & Residents Only Rummage Thru A Wreckage To Sort Real From Rust In Heritage And The Mill's Sawdust & Drainage Is Taken To The Marsh Called Vain's Edge' Filling Fog-Bogs w/Sand-Bags Kept-In-Check A Brief But Necessary Task of Re-Collect Oh! The Quaint Village of Heritage Celebrates With Daily Treks To Bridge ! That Leads Into The Mountain (Isa. 2: 2-4) With The Clear Waterfall-Fountain And The Market Shops In Our Village Opens Stalls With Onions, Potatoes & Cabbage Bread, Cheese, Roast-Rabbits & Radish for Those Who've Come Far & Are Famished (and Want Their Lineage Established) (Isa. 25: 6) also Sliced Tomatoes & Pickled Relish Honey-Butter Spread On Meatpie Sandwich and Everyone Gets A Customary-Dish: A Stew of Lamb & Almonds & Fish and Wine Drinking In Moderate-Dosage To Go Along With The Salad & Sausage In A Celebration We Sod-Pottage (Gen. 25: 29) In Our Village Hall & In Each Cottage We Celebrate Our Combined Heritage ! (by Keeping Our Birthright To The Bridge) In The Celebration of Heritage Everyone Gets A Bowl of Spiced Porridge & Fruit-Preserves, Jellied, Jams Also Omelets With Cold Water or Ale or Squeezed Pomegranates Or Fresh Milk-Pails With Currants of Knowledge setting Amid Carefully Cultivated Foliage Served On Heirlooms of Silver Not Tarnished & Gold Cups With Healing Herbs As Garnish Arranged On Copper Tables Burnished That The Village of Heritage Furnished Then We Plant & Put In True Pots, A Pledge to Help Adorn Every Resident's Window Ledge with A Colorful Garland, Posy & Corsage along With Memoirs Affixed In Decoupage In The Gaiety & Honoring of Heritage Where Only One's Hello Is Held Hostage The Village of All Heritage Built On Future-Dreams Yet Still Vintage Thru Stones of Beauty Upon The Bridge Reaches Horizons Past Human's Ridge At The Village of All Heritage At Its Bridge Hangs That Old Adage One Must Know Where You Come From To Know Where You're Going To Come' And If History Repeats Itself It's A Tutor of What Should Be Kept or Left And What Our Forebears Paid In Passage In Tradition, Culture and Heritage for Our Children & Our Children's Children from Our Ancestors and Those Before Them It's Important To Know Our Own Origin and The Author Who Had It Written and The Why & Where & When & How So Others Know Truth Then As We Know Now It's A Protection Against Poison-Pens & Plagues & Plagiarism, Phonies & Power-Crazed-Phase & Prejudice & Mind-Prisons & Maze But Humans In Heritage Can Find Their Place As Partners Preparing For Posterity Blue Ribbon Prize ?
