It's You
What type of existence in the world would be?
If there was no you here for me
Could it be that your were around for this reason
To be that beacon, beckoning me in the your direction
You were like good medicine, so timely prescribed
Which to my mind allow a semblance of peace to reside?
How can I even enjoy this beautiful song?
If you are not by mu side to sing along
With a voice so blessed with such musical harmony
That has the capability of reaching deep inside of me
Sitting in awe, as you strike those very high note
Oh! What a feeling in me such can really evoke.
But my greatest joy felt in the light of the morning
Holding your as we stroll across the grass in the dew covered garden
Captivated by the aroma of the flower, the buzzing of the bees
Visually capturing the swaying of the trees as they danced in the breeze
This feeling can be considered a very important ingredient
That can be incorporated in that recipe for life's stimulant
But what to me can be so much of a delight
To sit and talk with you by the fireplace's light
Hearing your voice, see those eyes sparkle
Was just the catalyst to make the being tingle?
A little wine, some poetry and Oh that slow dance
Was enough to set the scene for a night's romance?
